From the pastor
My family members were born in South Korea and came here from S. Korea in 2004, except for me (I came here in 2002). I was raised in a Methodist pastor's family. My wife was raised in a family of an elementary school teacher.
Sarah, my daughter, was born in 1994, and likes baking, cooking, handicrafts, and music (playing piano and violin). She graduated from Emory Univ. in Atlanta, GA, in 2018 with a major in Economics and runs a small business now.
David, my son, was born in 1997 and also graduated from Emory with a major in Biology in 2019, and likes sports (golf, basketball, tennis, and pickleball, etc), and playing violin and piano as well. He will be graduating from the Dental College of Georgia this May. He is going to work as a resident doctor at the Children's Hospital beginning in July.
Esther likes cooking, baking, handicrafts, and knitting and crocheting. Esther used to run a hair salon in Korea for 7 years as a professional hair designer.
I like most sports, like pickleball, tennis, golf, soccer, swimming, etc. Photographing is my hobby too. Also, we all like traveling.
I have served the Board of Ordained Ministry as a member since 2016, Mission Motivation North Central District as a district secretary from 2020-2024, Wisconsin Foundation as a member since 2016, Taskforce for the sister-relation with the Dongbu Annual Conference as a member since 2015, and the New Ministries Strategy Board as a member from 2020-2024.
