From the pastor

God started nudging Pastor Wendy into ministry when she was 14. He opened doors to serve in youth ministry, campus ministry and local church ministry even before the bishop first appointed her to serve as a student pastor to four small country churches.

After graduating from the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary, she served another church in southern Wisconsin for nine years before being appointed to Menomonie in 2014. She is passionate about helping people of all ages experience God’s life-changing love and claim their God-given identity and calling. “It has been a joy to see that when people within the church are growing as followers of Christ, the church grows, too,” said Pastor. “Others are intrigued by and attracted to the spiritual vitality and genuine love they see.”

Pastor Wendy and her husband, Ryan, have three boys: Alex, Noah and Lucas. In her free time, she enjoys camping with her family, gardening and reading.
