Growth Opportunities

Everyone is at different points in their faith walk. Likewise, everyone has individual ways through which they want to grow their faith. There are many ways that you or your family can grow your faith at Menomonie United Methodist Church.

  • Building connections: campus ministry with UW-Stout, coffee hour, nursing home visits, Women’s retreat and Youth Group

  • Music: bell choir and vocal choir

  • Outreach: grief ministry, Menomonie Area Mission Coalition and Thursday’s table

  • Prayer: shawl knitting ministry and walks

  • Summer youth programs: vacation Bible school and Kidventures

  • Sunday studies: sessions for Children's Ministry and adults

  • Worship: Sunday, Advent and Lenten services

Become a Member

In the United Methodist Church, all people are welcome to participate in worship, communion, small group studies, and opportunities to serve our community even without being a member of the church. For many people, though, exploring and experiencing all that the church has to offer brings them to a point where they want to commit more fully, not just as a participant but as a supporter. Becoming a member means that you are committed to supporting the church with your prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness. Learn more about what membership means.

Menomonie United Methodist Church offers new member classes, where participants can learn more about what membership entails and meet others who are considering membership. This class is typically offered in the spring and in the fall. During class, we’ll discuss the beliefs and structure of the United Methodist Church, a few highlights from the history of the Menomonie United Methodist Church, and the responsibilities and privileges of membership. Contact us for details about the next class. Learn more about becoming a member.

If you’d like to learn more, please email us at office@menomonieumc.org or call 715-235-0654.
